Lucius Pattern Warhound Titan - Update 2

Hello everyone

Just a short little update of my progress on the Warhound Titan. It's coming along quite nicely if I should say so myself, and I will probably start painting the weapons the coming weekend. Just need to finish repainting my Star Wars Armada ships as they have bothered me for quite a while now :-D

Anyway have some more pictures.

Hope you like it :)

Be sure to follow me on Instagram for more progress shots (a lot easier to quickly share pictures ;-) )

Lucius Pattern Warhound Titan - Update

Hello everyone

Time for a little update on Project Titan :-p since my last post I've finished the Legs and started work on the torso. Which is progressing nicely and I plan to continue work on it this weekend.

In between I also managed to paint up the only Infinity figure I currently own, which is the Joan D'Arc you get if you buy the Angel Giraldez Masterclass Volume I book.

If you would like to see more WIP shots and the like you should really look over at my Instagram (link i right sidebar) as I mainly post progress shots there as it's a lot easier :-p

Pretty much the current state

And here's a singleshot of the Infinity Joan D'Arc miniature from Corvus Belli. Was quite fun to paint as the model has so many small details and an interesting paint scheme.

That's it for now, hope you liked it. Feel free to comment below :)

Cthulhu - Scibor Miniatures - 28CM0005

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to show a few pictures of a little side project I've had planned for some months and spend a few weeks of january painting.

This is the Scibor Miniatures Cthulhu and it's just a beautiful model so rich with details, and even though this was the first monster I have ever painted it was a joy to work on a miniature this well made.

Before I moved to my new apartment, I used to drive about 80km to be with my friends at Projekt Nexus, which is a tabletop/roleplaying/boardgame club I've been a member of for a couple of years.

I've spend so many weekends at that place, bringing all my painting equipment from home. But it was always a bitch to drive back and forth several times a weekend. Luckily I have a very good friend here, who have let me crash on his couch countless times, always helping out if he could.

So I kinda wanted to pay him back a bit, so last year around september/oktober I decided I wanted to paint something nice for him, and knowing that he is a HUGE Lovecraft fan, an awesome Cthulhu miniature seemed like a proper gift.

So I looked around the interwebs and found this magnificent miniature from Scibor.

This a couple of days ago (10.02) it was his birthday and I finally got to present him with this after having it laying around for several months.

Anyway enough backstory! time for a few pictures.

I'm not really a monster painter, never has been and probably never will be, but I'm still rather happy with how this one turned out.

Really hope you liked it, and feel post your comment/suggestions/questions below :)

Now back to Titan painting!

Lucius Pattern Warhound Titan - Cockpit and Legs

This is actually a Mars pattern and not Lucius....shhh

Greetings everyone!

Just wanted to post a few pictures of my current project, which is a lot bigger than normal.
This is a Lucius Pattern Warhound Titan, which I've had laying around for a while, but after having finished some projects I thought the time was right to begin painting this giant (still the smallest of the titans...).

So far I finished the head and crew (might redo the lenses at some point, no problem) and this weekend I started painting the legs properly. So far I've painted the basecoats of the metal and started working on the armor plates. Still a long way to go :-p

The Cockpit

Here's a few shots of the current state of things.

The plan is  to have this finished for a Con I'm attending in april, so hopefully that will be possible :-p

Anyway that's it for now, hope you liked it.

Storm Warden Librarian - Deathwatch

Hello everyone

So I just finished the last miniature for our Deathwatch group, so now everyone have their own awesome figure to portray their character.

This mini is based of the one of the new Librarian figures from Games Workshop, and then it has been sligthly converted to better fit the description of my friends character in game.

I think it turned out pretty nice and it looks great standing next to the other figures I've already painted in the glass montre at our gaming club :D

Anyway that's enough text for now, let me show some more pictures.

Hope you liked it :)

Up next is a little secret project and yesterday I also started working on my Warhound Titan, so that's going to be quite the paintjob.

Until next time
Chris
