Hello everyone!
It has been quite a while since I last posted, not because I haven't been
painting since March, but simply because it primarily has been Napoleonic
models, which I just forget to post as most people don't find them that
interesting. I have painted a Warhammer Fantasy model which I should post as I
imagine some might like a whiff of nostalgia. I'll get that sorted out soon
(if I remember).
Anyway!
I got this model, or well the base
model, as a gift from a good friend of mine earlier in the year, and between
all the Napoleonics I found time to start my conversion. The base model was
the
Loyalist Champion Consul
from Games Workshop/Forgeworld, and then I just raided my bits box for the
rest and did a lot of scraping/sanding/Greenstuffing to remove all the
"loyalist" details on the model.
I'm quite proud of the conversion,
but parts of the paint job I'm not too keen on, and at the same time also too
lazy to actually redo it. So this will have to do :-)
