Alexis Polux 'The Crimson Fist' - Finished

Hello everyone!

So I think I'm about ready to call my Forgeworld Alexis Polux finished. As mentioned in an earlier post, I decided to paint him in the colours of the Crimson Fists chapter (He was the first Chapter Master after The Second Founding) and I think it turned out rather well :)

The base was pretty fun to paint, don't think I have ever painted a scenery base like this so it was a fun exercise.

Anyway enough talk, time for more pictures!

That's it for now, I really hope you liked it.

As usual comments are more than welcome!

Alexis Polux 'The Crimson Fist' - Update

Hello everyone!

Small update today, I just wanted to show you guys how my Polux was coming along :) I know it's probably pretty much pure Heresy to paint up a Forgeworld Horus Heresy character to represent the wrong Adeptus Astartes Chapter ! but I just couldn't get myself to paint yellow (The worst of all colors) and on the second hand Polux was the first Crimson Fist Chapter Master, so technically this isn't completely wrong....Let's agree to call it a greyarea ! ;)

Anyway not much else to show at this point, hopefully I will have the figure done this week and then the base painting will begin

Until then

Chris

Sternguards & Kantors Honorguard - Games Workshop

Hello everyone!

I recently purchased a couple of GW's new Sternguard boxes, because they looked awesome and I really liked the flexibility they permitted compared to the old box. Each box contains 5 Sternguards and about 30 weapon options...so I ordered home a big pile of magnets and went to work.

It's not that I don't like my old Sternguards that I made a while ago, but these just looked too awesome not to build and paint.

I magnetized all the weapons in one of the boxes and then the combi weapons from the second. Most of the marines have magnetized arms as well.

I can't wait to begin painting these, but I probably need to paint some more Space Hulk figures first :-D but I just wanted to show them off.

Beside the new Sternguards I also wanted to make a Honor Guards for my Chapter Master Pedro Kantor. I did paint Kantor a while back, but since my skills and techniques have improved/changed since I decided to get a new one :-D

These are based of GW's Masters of the Chapter box, which contains 4 very unique and awesome Space Marine veterans with different Power Weapons. I converted them with some bits from E-bay and my Sternguard boxes. The standard bearer is just assembled from different bits I got from E-bay, a mix of normal GW and Forgeworld bits.

I'm still missing an arm for my standard bearer, but hopefully it will be in the mailbox soon.

That's it for now, hope you liked it.

Space Hulk - First Squad - Finished

Hello everyone!

So I managed to get the first 5 Terminators finished for the Space Hulk commission I'm doing for a good friend of mine.

Terminators Finished:
  • Sergeant Lorenzo
  • Brother Claudio
  • Brother Omnio
  • Brother Scipio
  • Brother Noctis
As far as I remember I got 7-8 Terminators left to paint and then a shitton of Genestealers, but these figures are just pure joy to paint, so many details and awesome poses.

Here's some more pictures! enjoy
