Fulmentarus Terminator Strike Squad - Ultramarines - Games Workshop/Forgeworld

Hello everyone

So my second "Secondary Project" while painting the giant Abaddon bust was just finished today. My first squad for my ZM/Centurion Ultramarines, a squad of Fulmentarus Terminators (with way to many weapon options....and still need the combi meltas >.<).

These was a blast to paint, so fun to paint something else than Sons of Horus for a change.

The Power weapons are from Conversion World.

So I felt the first pictures were a bit to the dark side, so tried taking some new ones including some better close-ups, hope you enjoy :-)

Steloc Aethon - Ultramarines - Forgeworld

Hello everyone

A quick little update today. As you might know, I'm currently working on a huge bust of Abaddon, which I'm making decent progress on (but still a long way to go). Currently, I'm painting something on the bust and then taking a little break with another project, this Praetor was one of these projects for my ZM/Centurion Ultramarine army (Which is up to 2 painted models now!). I'm also working on a squad of Fulmentarus Terminators, which I will make a post about as soon as they are finished.

Librarian - Sons of Horus - Forgeworld

Hello everyone!

I just finished painting this librarian earlier today so I thought I'd better make a post about it.
This project was actually meant as a side project to the current big one I'm working on at the moment. But since this was way more manageable I suppose I got carried away and finished it....so now I need a new side project :p

The miniature is a limited one from Forgeworld and I only think you can actually buy it at Warhammer World. I ended up converting it slightly as the original had a huge demon cloud coming out of his left hand and I really don't like effects like that on gaming pieces (Another story for display pieces), so I replaced his left arm, give him an axehead from Conversion World and a combi plasma.

Not much else to say, painted using the same techniques as always, so if you want to know more about that, I suggest you find check out the tutorials I made on this subject.

That's it for now! I will probably have another side project finished "soon" or at least before the main project is finished xD

Javelin Attack Speeder Squadron - Sons of Horus - Forgeworld

Hello everyone

I just finished painting another unit for my Sons of Horus army. This time it's some much needed Fast Attack in the form of some Javelin Speeders. I got them with Lascannons but everything is magnetized, so hopefully, someday I will be able to get my hands on some Missile Launchers for them. I have made 2 sets of arms for the gunners one with Multi Meltas and one with Heavy Bolters.

These were great fun to paint even though it took a long time since my scheme required quite a bit of masking, well over 100 hours used in about 1 month.

Anyway enjoy some pictures :)

Horus Aximand, 'Little Horus' - Sons of Horus

Hello everyone!

Been a while since I posted on the blog since most of my current projects are Works in Progress (Check my Instagram for that). But I did just manage to get this single miniature finished.

It's for a Horus Heresy campaign we are starting up at my local club in a few month's time. The primary requirement was that everyone had to convert and paint a new HQ for their army.

Being a fan of the Sons of Horus lore I knew this was the chance to paint up another Mournival member and one of the primary characters of the XVI Legion, Little Horus Aximand.

The miniature is converted using a lot of different kits, can't really remember them all of the top of my head sadly. Things worth mentioning since I seem to get a lot of questions regarding those are the Sword from ConversionWorld and the Nameplate from Versatile Terrain. If you aren't aware of these companies I highly recommend checking both out as they make some amazing stuff!

That's it for now. I'm currently working on a huge Abaddon bust and some Javelin Land Speeders, so might see the finished speeders soon'ish. The bust is still months away from being finished however xD
